Gobes, Steel GobesA gobo is designed and developed to get fit into a holder that is inset into the body of a lighting instrument. Upon insertion, a light is shines through the gobo making it project image onto the surface. Gobos can have patterns that can be used to add texture to the surface. People can customize gobos with logos, themed imagery and messages. For example, many a times it is being used by people to project monogram of the bride & groom at the wedding, or depict company logo in an event. Amongst diverse variety of Gobos, the most common and majorly used one are Steel Gobos. They have the potential to display diverse colors of light that are broadcast upon them. Steel Gobos are more durable than the Glass Gobos and are able to depict designs with much more clarity.
